Cletus and Lemmy in the Parade of Nations, in homemade shirts.
Today was International Day at the kids' school. Parents from different countries set up booths to celebrate and explain their countries and their traditions. The kids got to visit all the booths (34 countries!) and see performances, hear music and sample foods from all over the world. It served to reinforce for me how happy and how lucky we are to be able to provide our kids with an environment where their classmates come from every country under the sun. Lemmy's class has kids from Finland, Sweden, Japan, England, Australia, Korea, China, Peru, Egypt and more. Cletus's got France, Ireland, Tasmania, Vietnam, Belgium, Canada, Italy . . . it's incredible.

"Wait. What?" Okay, her husband is Swedish. She is Malaysian. That's pretty much our neighborhood here. Man I love this place.
