We tried to go to the pumpkin patch yesterday. We failed. Apparently they are only open on weekends. So, since we are perennial pumpkin procrastinators, we went to the local nursery instead. They had quite a few pumpkins left to choose from, and we used the leftover time to actually carve the pumpkins the day we got them. It turned out fairly well, even with the boys (as always) incredibly complex and hard-to-carve pumpkin designs.

We just realized that. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. They are extremely elaborate.
